Seconds from Death – a memoir and a documentary film
Photo memory of a balloon jump Bob and I made in Steamboat Springs, in 1987, on a cold, still morning in January. One of the passengers I left behind in the basket took this picture of my exit. I remember the rush of air, the sound of me falling, alive and aware.
